Biometric access points have always been inconvenient and uncomfortable due to the high security levels that these systems demand. Their use is generally satisfactory when applied to low volume access points, but proves unsuited to identifying large groups of people, such as a building intrance. In order for biometric technology to become a real asset to a company, rather than simply a necessary inconvenience, Sensometrix has developed the SensoBox. It aims at satisfying three main criteria: fast identification times, ease of use and security.

The SensoBox is the only biometric access control terminal in the world using the SensoBrain technology, which makes it possible to successfully identify an individual from a database containing several thousand people in a fraction of a second while still maintaining one of the industry’s highest levels of security.

Industry-standard biometric solutions compare tens of thousands of identification points, while the SensoBox compares millions of points on the palm vein cartography without needing physical contact. SensoBox opens up a new dimension of efficient and intuitive security.

The SensoBox can be adapted to large-scale applications by combining it with the SensoBrain biometric identification engine. The SensoBrain increases performance tenfold by allowing faster identification times during peak hours. This introduces a level of convenience which is absent from the industry’s security product offerings until now.

A SCALABLE IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM
The vast majority of industry-standard RFID technology has been integrated into the SensoBox. This allows it to be widely implemented, be it to control a constant flow of people or to combine identification and verification conforming to RFID standards.

The SensoBox SDK offers you the possibility of easily integrating Sensometrix technology into your existing security infrastructure. Sensometrix technology can be integrated into third-party applications, such as access control, time management or biometric payment systems allowing you to capture vein patterns, manage logs and monitor the operation of your SensoBox from a one single management console. The SensoBox SDK integrates industry-standard protocols including Ethernet, RS and Wiegand, which offers the potential for scalability across door controllers or RFID card systems.
